With our Women's Best Protein Chips Tortilla Style, we've created a crispy, lentil-based snack that combines a high protein and fiber content with a savory sweet paprika flavor.
Why we deliberately skip soy.
As one of the most nutrient-dense legumes, lentils naturally provide plant-based protein and fiber and serve as the sole protein source in our Protein Chips. Many protein chips rely on soy protein instead as a cheap protein source. We've deliberately chosen not to, since soy is one of the 14 most common allergens and can trigger intolerances, bloating, or digestive discomfort in many people.
On top of that, soy protein has to be heavily processed and isolated before it can be used, and according to current studies, over 70% of the global soy harvest is genetically modified. Genetically modified soy is also permitted for import into the EU, as long as it's properly approved. We've deliberately avoided this and use lentil flour instead, a natural, non-GMO ingredient.
Our chips vs. classic potato chips.
Women's Best Protein Chips aren't fried in oil but gently baked instead, and they're also gluten-free and vegan. The protein and fiber they contain slow digestion and keep you feeling full longer than the quickly digested carbohydrates in conventional potato chips. With 24 g of protein and over 6 g of fiber per 100 g, our Protein Chips offer three times more protein at just a third of the fat content of classic potato chips. A 40 g bag contains 9.6 g of protein for only 166 calories.
Crispy, savory, versatile.
The crispy texture makes Women's Best Protein Chips Tortilla Style a versatile everyday companion, whether for dipping in guacamole, hummus, or salsa, as a savory side with lunch, or as a protein-rich snack on the go. The savory-sweet paprika flavor gives it just the right taste without overpowering the mild natural flavor of the lentils. Especially after a workout or as an alternative to classic snacks in between meals, they offer a practical way to boost your daily protein intake without having to compromise on taste.
