What are the benefits?

With Women's Best Daily Gut Fiber Complex, we've developed a high-quality fiber formula that helps you increase your daily fiber intake simply and easily, giving targeted support to your digestion and overall health.

Fiber forms the foundation of a balanced gut microbiome and has been linked to numerous health benefits — from normal digestion to balanced blood sugar levels, better satiety, and a lower risk of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and colon cancer.

Yet less than 1 in 10 Americans meet the recommended daily fiber intake, since daily needs are often hard to cover through diet alone. With 12.5 g of fiber per daily serving, Women's Best Daily Gut Fiber Complex already provides up to 50% of the recommended daily fiber intake—offering a simple way to meaningfully supplement your diet.

What makes our formula so special.

At the heart of our formula are two highly well-tolerated fiber sources: the clinically studied Fibersol®-2 (resistant maltodextrin) and Fibregum™ (acacia fiber). Both have prebiotic properties, promote the growth of beneficial gut bacteria, and support the production of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), which play an important role in a healthy gut environment. Fibersol®-2 and Fibregum™ are backed by numerous human studies on their prebiotic properties, good tolerability, and positive effects on gut microbiota, digestion, and metabolism. The formula is further enriched with VitaCholine™, activated B vitamins, zinc bisglycinate, and prickly pear cactus extract. Prickly pear provides natural polyphenols and other plant compounds that are being studied for their antioxidant properties, making it the perfect complement to our fiber complex.

Why fiber matters so much.

Fiber is one of the most important components of a healthy diet. It promotes healthy gut function and gut microbiota, increases satiety, helps lower LDL cholesterol and blood sugar spikes, and is associated with a lower risk of type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and colon cancer.

Despite these benefits, most people fall well short of recommended intake. Average intake is often only 12 to 22 g per day, while recommendations call for 25 to 38 g daily depending on the guideline. In many countries, 70 to 95% of the population fails to meet this target. Fiber supports normal digestion, contributes to balanced blood sugar levels, promotes satiety, and is associated with a lower risk of cardiovascular disease.

Organization Recommendation for Women Recommendation for Men
WHO (World Health Organization) ≥25 g/day ≥25 g/day
EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) 25 g/day 25 g/day
National Academy of Medicine 25 g/day (ages 19–50)
21 g/day (>50)
38 g/day (ages 19–50)

DGE / ÖGE / SGE (D-A-CH reference values) ≥30 g/day ≥30 g/day
SACN (Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition) 30 g/day 30 g/day

Our Women's Best Daily Gut Fiber Complex is the ideal solution for anyone who struggles to get enough fiber day to day or simply wants an easy way to meaningfully round out their diet—whether due to lack of time, an unbalanced diet, or a desire for targeted support of digestion and well-being.

With its thoughtfully designed combination of Fibersol®-2 and Fibregum™, two especially well-tolerated, high-quality fiber sources, along with other functional ingredients like VitaCholine™, which contributes to normal fat metabolism; prickly pear cactus extract; and zinc plus vitamins B1, B2, B3, and B5, which support your energy metabolism, Daily Gut Fiber Complex brings together everything you need to meaningfully round out your diet.

How do I take it?

Recommended use: Mix 350 ml of water with 1, 2, or 3 level scoops of powder according to the table below. Follow the intake recommendations so your gut can gradually adjust to the increased fiber intake. We recommend taking it before or with a meal.

Phase Time Period Dosage Fiber Content % of WHO* Recommendation
1 Days 1–10 1 scoop (5 g powder) 4.15 g 17%
2 Days 11–20 2 scoops (10 g powder) 8.3 g 33%
3 From day 21 3 scoops (15 g powder) 12.5 g 50%

*WHO stands for World Health Organization.

Tip: When increasing your fiber intake, optimally support your digestion by making sure to drink enough water throughout the day.

The powder dissolves best in warm water. If using cold or room-temperature water, stir well and wait up to 2 minutes for the powder to fully dissolve.

Fiber deficiency, a global nutrition problem.

National nutrition studies show that average fiber intake falls short of recommended levels in every European country. In the US, more than 90% of the population falls short, and in the UK, around 87 to 96% miss the recommended daily amount. Worldwide, most people consume only about half the recommended amount of fiber. On average, daily intake is only 12 to 22 g, well below the recommended 25 to 38 g.

Fiber and gut health.

Adequate fiber intake is one of the most important factors for proper digestion. Fiber binds water in the gut, increases stool volume, and gently stimulates the intestinal lining. Over the long term, a good fiber supply also significantly lowers the risk of constipation and diverticular disease, painful pouches that form in the intestinal wall.

Positive effects on cardiovascular health.

Studies show that higher fiber intake is linked to a lower risk of numerous chronic diseases. The positive effects on the cardiovascular system are especially well documented: a fiber-rich diet has been shown to lower LDL cholesterol. In addition, large systematic reviews show that higher fiber intake is associated with a significantly lower risk of coronary heart disease and other cardiovascular diseases, as well as lower cardiovascular mortality.

Lower risk of type 2 diabetes.

Fiber slows the absorption of carbohydrates in the gut. This causes blood sugar to rise more slowly after a meal, and insulin also rises more evenly. Over the long term, large observational studies show that a fiber-rich diet is associated with a 20-30% lower risk of type 2 diabetes. Adequate fiber intake is therefore an important part of a balanced diet in supporting healthy glucose metabolism.

Fiber as a natural appetite suppressant.

Fiber absorbs water and expands in volume in the stomach. This promotes a longer-lasting feeling of fullness and can help regulate appetite. At the same time, fiber-rich foods have a lower energy density, so fewer calories are often consumed for the same volume. In studies, just 14 g of additional fiber per day reduced daily energy intake by around 10%. This was linked to an average weight loss of 1.9 kg over roughly four months. Adequate fiber intake can therefore support weight management as part of a balanced diet.

Valuable nourishment for good gut bacteria.

The fiber in Daily Gut Fiber Complex Powder, Fibersol®-2 (resistant maltodextrin), and Fibregum™ (acacia fiber) reaches the large intestine undigested. There, they're fermented by gut bacteria and serve as a food source for selected beneficial microorganisms. This process produces short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) such as acetate, propionate, and butyrate, which play an important role in a healthy gut environment. A fiber-rich diet also contributes to a diverse gut microbiota, an important foundation for normal digestion and overall well-being.

Fiber for colon cancer prevention.

Colon cancer is increasingly occurring in younger adults as well. At the same time, numerous studies show that a fiber-rich diet is associated with a lower risk of colon cancer: fiber promotes healthy bowel function by speeding up intestinal transit, diluting potentially harmful substances in the gut, and being fermented by gut bacteria into short-chain fatty acids such as butyrate. Butyrate has anti-inflammatory effects and supports the health of the intestinal lining. Large systematic reviews and meta-analyses show that higher fiber intake is associated with a lower risk of colon cancer. The World Cancer Research Fund rates the evidence as convincing and recommends a fiber-rich diet as an important part of colon cancer prevention.
