We acknowledge that salmon is not a part of a vegan diet. These essential fatty acids are not produced by the body and must be exclusively obtained from food. Fatty fish species, such as salmon, are recognized as an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids. However, consuming approximately 1.4kg of salmon per week to meet the recommended daily requirement of 2,000-4,000mg is impractical.
